During the camp, we will provide everything you need for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
You will also get a basic food package with things like lemonade, butter, spreads, and milk.
Please remember to bring your own extras, such as herbs, spices, soft drinks, snacks, and candy.
Camp post address
Of course, your family and friends can send you a nice card or package during camp! We will give it to you during the morning opening.
Here’s the address:

You can also send mail from the campsite to home! Special camp postcards will be available, so you can send a message back home.

Address camp navigation
You can use the following address to find the campsite by car or bus:
Tuikwerderrak 15

Visitor's day

On Visitors’ Day (Country Day), it would be great if each group prepares a fun activity for everyone!
If possible, you can also bring a traditional snack from your country to let others taste!
Parking
P = Parkeerplaats / Parking lot
P = Afstapplaats bus/ Bus drop off point
There is not much space for cars at the campsite.
We have marked parking areas on the map above for both short-term and long-term parking.
If you need a place to park your bus during the camp, please contact us so we can look at the options together.
Showers

There will be a chance to take a shower every day during the camp.
To keep things organised, we will use a shower schedule. Each group can sign up for a time slot, so everyone gets a turn without long waits.
Firts aid
There will be a First Aid post available at the campsite throughout the camp.
If you don’t feel well, get hurt, or need medical help, you can go there for support.

Alcohol and smoking

During the camp, we follow Dutch laws about alcohol and smoking.
This means that alcohol is only allowed for participants who are 18 years or older.
The campsite is smoke-free. Smoking is only allowed in special smoking areas, which will be clearly marked.

Valuta
In the Netherlands, we use the Euro (€) as our currency. Most shops, restaurants, and supermarkets accept bank cards and credit cards, but it’s also useful to have some cash for small purchases. If you come from a country that does not use the Euro, you may need to exchange your money or use a card that works internationally.

Social Media
Before and during the camp, we will be active on social media.
We will share photos and videos so everyone, including parents and Scouts who stay at home, can feel part of the camp experience.
Don’t forget to share the links with parents and others, so they can also follow along and enjoy the fun!
Make sure to follow us to see all the special moments as they happen!

Camp traditions
We are happy to welcome some new groups to this edition of the camp! To share our camp traditions, here are a few important ones:
-
Each country organizes a Country Evening at the bar. Here, Scouts can enjoy traditions and refreshments from their own country.
-
At the end of the camp, it is a tradition to give each other a small gift as a thank you.
-
On Visitors’ Day (Country Day), each country hosts activities for camp visitors, often with a traditional snack or drink to share.
We look forward to sharing these special moments with everyone!
